Dog laws in Sweden

This site was created because I often see discussion about "the banned crate" and other laws we have in Sweden related to dogs. There are naturally a lot of questions when you have one of the worlds most strict laws when it comes to animal keeping. So I do my best to answer them.

 

I try my best to keep this site as neutral as possible, we neither encourage of discourage the use of crates under legal circumstances.

Please note that this site is not updated to the new animal welfare law that took place April 2019. I've yet to read through the new law but haven't heard of anything that would affect what's written on this site
